Tillman Gerlough

Tillman D. "Turk" Gerlough originally arrived at the University of Idaho in 1917. He then left to fight in WWI.

After the war he came back and finished off an outstanding athletic career as a shifty, plunging back and an excellent punter. Selected by Walter Camp as one of "100 America's Best". Also an able middle distance runner in track.

In the service, he was the star of the famous 361st Infantry team of the 91st Division. He attained a national reputation as a physiological chemist for the E.R. Squiff Co. of New Brunswick, NJ.
