One of the top kickers in Idaho history, Mike Hollis set a standard of accuracy that has not been repeated.
In 1993, Hollis converted all 68 of his extra point attempts. His 56-yard field goal against Northern Arizona in 1993 is the longest in school history. He also set Big Sky Conference records against Lehigh in 1993 with 11 extra points attempted and made. After Idaho, Hollis played in the NFL for eight seasons, which includes a Pro Bowl year in 1997 when he led the league in scoring with 134 points. He made 200 field goals on 250 tries in his career, and finished second in Jacksonville Jaguars franchise history for total points, field goals, and field goal attempts
