Ken Schrom

Ken Schrom was a two-year letterwinner in both football and baseball for the Vandals from 1973-76. A 17th-round selection by the California Angels in the 1976 MLB draft, Schrom pitched in the major leagues for seven years, earning an All-Star Game invitation in 1986 after starting the season with a 10-2 record.

The Grangeville, Idaho, native played for Toronto, Minnesota and Cleveland during his MLB career. After retirement from his playing career, he worked in the front office of several minor league teams, and is currently the president of the Corpus Christi Hooks, the Double-A affiliate of the Houston Astros.
