Jerry Ahlin

While at the University of Idaho in 1965 Jerry played both defensive end and quarterback. Jerry was signed by the Dallas Cowboys but was the last player cut before the season began.

He was sent to play with the Oklahoma City Plainsmen in 1967, which was a member of the Professional Football League of America. Jerry also played linebacker for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats of the Canadian Football League.

He is enshrined in our Hall of Fame along with former Vandal teammates, Ray McDonald, Joe Dobson, Joe Chapman, John Shelt, Dave Triplett, Ron Porter, Jerry Cambell and Steve Buratto.
