G.E. "Cap" Horton

Served as graduate manager from 1923 to 1939. During that time he was secretary-treasurer of the Idaho Memorial Association that built Memorial Gymnasium.

He was also graduate manager when Neale Stadium was built in 1935.  Prior to that time he served as a state rehabilitation officer for the blind, headquartered in Boise. After resigning the graduate managership he served several years as secretary of the Moscow Elks lodge and was an active Mason and Rotarian.  Cap, above all, was a active University of Idaho alum and an avid Vandal fan until he died in 1949 at the age of 69.
