Brian Kellerman was a key cog in the most successful stretch of Idaho men’s basketball history. In his 110-game Idaho career, Kellerman scored 1,585 points, dished out 390 assists and snatched 208 steals.
His assists and steals marks are comfortably atop the all-time lists at Idaho. Kellerman was a two-time All-Big Sky First Team honoree, three-time Big Sky All-Tournament Team selection and the 1981 Big Sky Most Valuable Player. He was named to the Big Sky’s 25th Anniversary Team in 1988. With Kellerman leading the way the Vandals went 89-26, including a trip to the Sweet 16 at the 1982 NCAA Tournament and a pair of Big Sky titles in 1981 and 1982. He was selected by Houston in the seventh round of the 1983 NBA Draft.
