Bill was a great offensive tackle from Rathdrum that eventually graduated from the University of Idaho in 1917 and Stanford University Law School in 1921.
He became a noted San Francisco lawyer and personal attorney for former President Herbert Hoover. Also a long time counsel for the Federal Land Bank of San Francisco. His guidance is credited with bringing back the California wine industry after repeal of National Prohibition. Also a trusted consultant to several foreign governments on production to feed their expanding populations. He was an Army Captain in WWI and a decorated Colonal in WWII.
